Agorex was founded in 2001 by Mark Biciunas to develop and market the Agorex Site Factory.  The Site Factory is a website content management system which combines a web-server with an integrated content management system.  As a result, every website created on the Site Factory can be easily updated and maintained by the client.  A thriving web development business soon developed by promoting the Agorex Site Factory to small/medium businesses and organizations.

In 2003, the Site Factory was updated to version 2.0 with improved ease of use, additional page types, and integrated website statistics.  In 2007, Agorex sold the business practice to Mississauga Websites and began development of the next generation Site Factory.  Release 3 would provide substantially increased flexibility in website layout/design, a component model, and a more visual and intuitive user interface.

As of April 2009, Agorex is completing implementation of the Site Factory into a new web based product called AdJamble.  AdJamble is targeted directly at newspaper organizations.  It will allow them to sell temporary websites that are tied directly to ad insertions and paid for by advertisers.
